All About Mackensen Elementary
Mackensen Elementary is located in Bay City, Michigan, specifically in Monitor Township. We offer a Kindergarten through 5th-grade instructional program and enroll an average of 250 resident and choice students each year. Mackensen Elementary offers Special Education programming as well.
Mackensen Elementary celebrates being a family comprised of staff, students, and the community. Stakeholders are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, purposeful learning environment for all to thrive. At Mackensen, experienced and caring staff create learning environments that foster learning for all by meeting the unique needs of each student. Our goal is to help every child reach his or her academic and social-emotional potential using the best educational practices possible.
There are numerous opportunities for parents and the community to be involved at Mackensen including volunteering opportunities both inside the classrooms and out, school-wide activities such as our annual Trunk-or-Treat and End of Year Celebrations, and chaperoning many of the awesome field trip adventures our students go on each year.
